1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using DeFi Rates (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
DeFi Rates provides aggregated lending and borrowing rate data from decentralized finance protocols via a web interface and REST API. All data is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial advice.
3. API Usage
- You must not share, resell, or redistribute your API key without prior written consent.
- Rate limits apply per plan. Exceeding your plan's daily request limit will result in HTTP 429 responses.
- Automated scraping, denial-of-service attacks, or any actions that degrade service availability are strictly prohibited.
- API keys found to be abused will be revoked without notice.
4. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Manipulate or misrepresent financial data obtained from the Service.
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the underlying data sources beyond what the API provides.
- Provide the Service as a white-label product without a separate commercial agreement.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Payments are processed by Paddle, our authorized Merchant of Record. By subscribing you agree to Paddle's Terms of Service. Prices are listed in USD and exclude any local taxes, which may be added at checkout.
6. Refunds
You may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription payment by contacting support@defirates.io. Renewals are non-refundable unless required by applicable law. We reserve the right to refuse refunds in cases of abuse.
7. Data Accuracy
Rate data is sourced from on-chain smart contracts and third-party APIs and is refreshed approximately every 5 minutes. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data. Do not make financial decisions solely based on data from this Service.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DeFi Rates and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
